The Modern Jungle Of Diversity

13 Oct

You’ve said to me we failed

Failed in democracy

The modern jungle of diversity

It was too much for me

But what can we do

Ignoring my existence

As a vague presence of minority

Although, the price of tax

But have no right because of

Because of, despite

My house

My love

And family

Friendly neighbours who don’t judge over me

Schoolteachers who are fond of me

My feet on the ground

Walking in the footsteps

Of my ancestors

Who told me

Don’t be afraid

When times get rough

And this preach of injustice

Arrives at your kitchen

Open your eyes and door, and welcome me

Conquer the hate with love, and be proud of your humanity

~~~~~
She rose to His Requirement – dropt
The Playthings of Her Life
To take the honorable Work
Of Woman, and of Wife
 ~~~~~

If ought She missed in Her new Day,

Of Amplitude, or Awe

Or first Prospective – Or the Gold

In using, wear away,

 ~~~~~
It lay unmentioned – as the Sea
Develope Pearl, and Weed
But only to Himself – be known
The Fathoms they abide
Fall
We must pull
the curtains—
we haven’t any
They eat your thoughts away
and spit them around
as distracted images of false truth
Reality has fade away
in an empty space of loneliness
by misleading interpretations
Almost eaten by reality
6 Jan
I walk with my head high up in the air
Every step I take, the force of gravity tries to catch me
Oh my suffering nature
Why are thou hiding deep down inside my body of language
Trying to push and push my face down and down under ground
To blind my eyes from reality
My troubled mind demands
Please, take me up and let me fly high in the sky
Free as a bird
Let me go by the wind
Any way…
Where ever…
Forever
Colourful Thoughts
Confusing my Senses
Time is the substance I am made of
27 May
Time is a river which carries me along, but I am the river
It is a tiger which devours me, but I am the tiger
It is a fire which consumes me, but I am the fire
You are so Dutch
14 Jan
What a spiritual weather today
My wooden clogs at the backdoor
My headscarf on the peg
I feel so confused
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wat een geestelijk weer vandaag

Mijn klompen bij de achterdeur
Mijn hoofddoek aan de kapstok

Ik voel mij zo verward
